1st Annual Field of Screams DJ Battle Competition

New for 2014 the 1st annual DJ Battle. Enter for you chance to come show off your mixing and scratching skills on the main stage at Field of Screams. Only 1 can take home the trophy and bragging rights as the WINNER of this Battle!
Register below for your chance to battle. You can submit your demo link with your registration or you can mail your demo to: 3493 Marietta Ave Lancaster PA 17601.
All demos must be received by November 2nd 2014. Field of Screams will notify competitors on November 3rd if they have been chosen to compete in the battle.
- Two turntables and a Rane mixer will be provided. DJs can hook up using the Serato DJ program. DJ's must bring their own Laptop.
(DJ needs to bring own needles/headphones)
- Each Dj gets 5 minutes to scratch and mix
- Judges decide who moves on to the next round
- The final round will be the top 2 DJs doing a 2min battle.
Each DJ will be judged on the following categories:
- Mixing ability
- Tune selection
- Showmanship and style
- Technical skill
- Crowd reaction
COMPETITION TIME SCHEDULE
- 7:00 - 7:30pm - Register
- 7:35p - Kick off competition
- 7:45pm -8:25pm - First Round begins.
- 8:35pm - 9:15pm - Second Round Begins. 4 compete.
- 9:30pm - 945pm - Final Round. 2 compete.
- 10:00pm - Announce the winner.

1st place receive a Trophy, 30 min podcast on 99.3kissfm.com and A Pioneer RMX-1000 Remix Station DJ Controller (Valued at $800.00)
2nd place prize A Gator GCLUBBAKPAKSM Compact Digital Dj Backpack (valued at $110.00)
3rd place prize Kiss Fm prize pack (cds and gift certificates)
